If you let everyone vote once a day, it would:
1. generate lots of taffic for the site
2. allow for people to spread out their votes if they felt strongly towards multiple mods
3. Encourage people to ralley their friends or non-friends to vote for them (Selling yourself is a valuable life skill)

I remember JJ loosing a contest on the Intel site because the people he was up against had a huge following and there was some fraud involved in the whole ordeal. But unless you do it like that other where there are a certian number of judges who have a 75% say in the total score and only allow the people's vote to count a little, it still gives a reason to get people to vote, but takes a little of the popularity contest out of the equation.

If it's good enough for Dancing with the Stars, it should be good enough for us! ha ha

Another thing is I do not agree with the winner AT ALL. Its just all green lights, Except BLUE for some reason in the top right corner, along with tubing that look green even though the modder himself said he wanted the tubes to be blue which in the submitted pic, they were not.
