Now ASUSTOR users will be able to pair ASUSTOR's Surveillance Center application with Edimax IP cameras to create an optimal surveillance solution, adding to the signature backup and network storage functions that ASUSTOR has become known for. Edimax's line of IP cameras includes the PT-31E model which features complete pan-tilt functionality and the IR-113E which comes equipped with infrared LEDs. These two models will be especially helpful to those looking to surveil a larger area and those who require around the clock surveillance.

Meticulously developed by ASUSTOR, Surveillance Center provides users with a reliable surveillance solution that can be downloaded for free from ASUSTOR's App Central. Surveillance Center is highly flexible in deployment as it is currently compatible with over 100 different types of IP cameras from leading brands. This allows users to construct an ideal system for themselves according to their budget and needs. The newest version of Surveillance Center features super quick configuration allowing users to complete the camera searching process and begin setup in under 30 seconds. Newly added drag and drop management allows users to organize the order of the live feeds on the user interface via drag and drop. Surveillance Center also conveniently remembers the interface setup for each user, allowing users to see the same setup even if they log in from different Web browsers and locations. Additionally, different colors are now used to denote different types of recorded events on the time axis helping users to quickly identify events and their starting time during playback.
