QuakeCon 2011

Wes and I talked about this very briefly and I was wondering who would be interested in going? I am going August 4th through the 8th. The rooms at the Hilton are 179.99 a night. There is a days in across the street for $363.40 total. I am not going to drive down there, that's a long ass drive and flying will probably be cheaper anyhow. The hotel is about 10 min from Love Field Airport.

I am ready to book my room but I wanted to see if anyone else wanted to go. Even if it's not for the full time that i'm going. The flights are going to be $363 from Indy to Love Field leaving on Thursday the 4th and returning on Monday the 8th. That is my plan. I will probably fly Delta and use my dads points so I don't have to pay airfare and there is no direct flight either.

Just wanted to throw this out there. I know people are interested in going, but we will actually do it? That is the question.

Looks like this is a done deal for me. Going to go on a baseball trip again with my dad. Going to see the St.Louis Cardinals, Texas Rangers and Kansas City Royals play. Gonna go for about 2 weeks. Things are getting really crazy and this is probably the last trip like this my dad and I can take. Looks like we are going to drive the whole thing. Should be a great time.

If anyone else is going, let me know. I would like to get a group to sit with if possible. Let me know what you guys think.

QuakeCon has always looked like a ton of fun. Too bad its so far and pricy!

Its only pricey if you go by yourself. It wouldn't be too bad if 4 of us went and drove.

If you want to go, anyone of you let me know. I reserved my room yesterday. Looks like i'm leaving on Monday the 1st and coming back on the 17th. We are going to Dallas to Kansas City to St.Louis then home. Got tickets for the Rangers, Royals and Cardinals. Should be a great trip. My dad and I did something similar last year going to Boston and New York but this should blow this outta the water.

If you want to go we can meet up while i'm down there.
