NeXus LAN 9 Registration is now Live!

NeXus LAN 9 Details -

When - November 19-20th. 12pm Satuday to 4pm Sunday. Venue will be open over night with room to crash. This is a really nice venue, with pop machine, refridgerator that anyone can put things into, plenty of parking, nice area, plenty of food, stores, and lodging near by.

Cost - $15.00 person thru Oct 31st includes 2 raffle tickets. (Best Deal!)
$18.00 person Nov 1 - Nov 14th includes 1 raffle ticket
$20.00 at the door includes 1 raffle ticket

+1 for the new hours. I really appreciate it. I had planned on skipping the next NexusLAN, until I saw this change.

I agree with Nacelle. Depending on what school and work looks like I would really like to make it.

I'd like to also give my +1 to the new hours. Hopefully the new location is as awesome as the last, the hours just killed me before. This old guy needs to take a midnight nap to keep up with the younger kids who show up and can sleep in come monday morning...

I'll have to check my calendar and get back with you, but i might be interested in car-pooling from Fort Wayne if anyone would like me to pitch in on gas!

I am glad to see people liking the new hours! This was the #1 requirement I had when I started looking for a location. Once we see how setup goes etc this time around we will probably change to like 10 am start time, and I hope to increase the player count to 100 the next time around if possible.

Can't wait to for Nov to get here!

If people have suggestions for tournaments post them here or contact Denied on the NeXus LAN forums. I know right now he are looking at 1 RTS, 1-2 FPS, and something else not sure what. If MW3 does indeed had local dedicated servers like they say good possiblity we will go for that one.

Internet will be at a min 30/5 looking to see if I can get a 2nd modem same speeds and do a load balance but dunno about that yet.

I have also talked to Action an he will be working on a seating map so everyone can reserve their seats ahead of time.

I'm really happy the hours were changed around, and once a date is set, i'll be able to figure out if i can make it. Always had fun in the past, it just was never much fun driving home when it was still dark outside because everyone packed up after the 3 am raffle...

Registration for NeXus LAN 9 will open on September 24th.

Registration will be $15.00 per person September 24th thru October 31st, and includes 2 raffle tickets.

On November 1st registration will go to $18.00 per person, and includes 1 raffle ticket. This price is thru Nov 14th.

The price for at the door if we have not sold out before then will be $20.00 and includes 1 raffle ticket.

So going, now I can actually go with some friends, since it's not far at all from me, oh, and a HUGE selection of food places in Huber Heights, including Chipotle and Hot Heads, which is a huge plus for me, excited about the hours too.

Anyone want me to put a hold on a seat near me and my son? I had to sign up early that way I could snag an end spot.

I'm torn, i think IU Lan is going to be the weekend prior and i don't think i can make both...
Problem is IU hasn't announced anything yet in stone about their event.

We currently have 51 registered for the event of 78 available seats. Prices go up in a week and your raffle tickets are cut in half. Only those registered and paid by Oct 31st will get the $15.00 and 2 raffle tickets!
