LanOC MiniLAN 6.9 August 8th 2010 was created by garfi3ld

The time is near! It's almost time for you to pack up your rigs and come out to our small town and have a good time. Our LANs are located in northwest Ohio in a small town called Ohio City. Our mini LANs are when we get together and play without all of the contests, tournaments, ect that take time away from gaming. We only charge 5 bucks to get in, with any extra going towards our network upgrade fund! This time around we will be sporting full gigabit network for our mini for the first time. Of course in order to come out you have to register, please make sure to sign up right away up top to let us know you will be coming.

So the most important question! What games is everyone planning on playing.

Starcraft 2!!!

Second TF2, SC2, and Demigod

Maybe some Killing Floor, and some Lead and Gold if we have enough people interested.

Also, Alien Swarm was mentioned , which is available on Steam to download for free Monday.

We're getting close! If you haven't registered on the site, I would advise you to do so ASAP. We've got a few groups outside the LanOC community interested in coming, so if you're planning on being there just follow the link below! It also helps us plan accordingly.

I hope you guys are excited about the LAN next weekend, I know I am. I am happy to announce that a few of the staff and I will be chipping in together to cover the cost of the building for our event. That means that the cost to get in will be FREE! You guys are still welcome to donate to the network fund if you would like, we still need a couple more gigabit switches. If you are interested in doing that just stop by my table at the lan.

Because the event is free, you shouldn't have any reason to not sign up and join us for some fun. Make sure you sign up on the registration page asap, I need to know how many tables and switches to setup that morning.

A big thanks to everyone who came out, we hope you had as good of a time as we did. Hope to see everyone at 7.0, remember to register and get the days off now so we see you there!

We owe a thanks to Cory for scaling the power poles and re-routing the cable with nothing more than a five minute lesson on what to do from Mr. Potts, who we owe another thanks for taking the time to help us.

Yeah, it was great to see everyone. Now I can't wait for the main lan. Thanks to everyone who helped get the cable fixed, and thank you to everyone for being patient with us while we worked out the issues. Hopefully this will prevent us from having issues for 7.0!

Also It was great to see a few new faces around the LAN. Im sorry that I didn't get to spend a little more time talking to everyone, it was a little crazy with the internet issues. After that I had a headache for most of the night.

Internet problems were a major bummer, but big thanks to staff for busting their butts to fix it. Took a while to get going, but good times were had by all. You all have to try Worms next time, we had an absolute blast with it.
