It has been awhile but the date of the next NeXus MAIN LAN party will be October 23rd, 2010

EARLY REGISTRATION DRAWING: We will be holding another pre-registration contest. In order to qualify for the drawing, you must be pre-registered by October 9th. However, the earlier you pre-register, the more chances you have to win. Just like last time, you will receive one entry into the drawing for each week before the LAN that you are pre-registered. You do not have to pre-pay to be eligible for the drawing, but you must be present to win. Also P3 Computers will be providing a free bottle of Bawls to every attendee that pre-registers.

We're in the process of voting on tournaments and will be annouced shortly. If there's something you'd like to see at the next lan, be sure to speak up in the forums.

If you are thinking of coming to this, be sure to register early as you have a better chance for the pre-reg drawing (you get extra entries for each week you are pre-registered).

Also, Intel is sponsoring us again and they usually give us a couple of CPU's to give away.

So for every week prior to the lan you get 1 extra ticket per week?

Anyone else from LanOC down for this? I'm interested in going.

Sorry, didn't mean to confuse you. We have a special drawing only for those people that pre-register (you don't have to pre-pay, just pre-register). Every week that you are pre-registered, you get an entry into this special drawing. We give away different prizes, The last time it was for a Gift Card to Best Buy, but we try to give a couple of things away in this drawing. You must also be present to win.

The raffle drawing is different, everyone has equal chances for the raffle.

Am I the only one that is not a fan of the hours, 2pm - 6am? I've always had a good time there. I just dread the 1.5hour drive home at 6:30am

I would love to finally make it to a NeXus LAN; if the days I already have requested go through, I'm definitely asking for this off.

I have another 2 hours on top of your trip home myself!
And i'm usually good until 3 am, then it's a strugle until i get on the road because that's my normal time to get up for the day.
I'll have to see if i'm able to make this one... Good times!

If you guys don't mind helping out a bit and want to come an hour early, send me a PM or email on Nexuslan Forums and I will get you guys set. This way you can set your machines up a bit earlier. I'll just need to know who all in your group will be coming early.

I'm in for as early as you'll let us. Helping set up is no problem.

Why are you getting money back? Did you pay for Dreyvas? If so, you might be able to find someone else who is going to go and just have them pay you next weekend and you could tell Nexus that your extra money goes towards that person...

I really don't understand the hours can this not be changed? Maybe with a vote for different hours? Lets do ittttttttttt.

I doubt it. I already pointed out my opinion about that on their forums and they all seem to like it.

Just a reminder to everyone, if you haven't pre-registered, please do so that you can be entered into the special pre-reg contest.

Also, be sure to stop by the forums and give your input on what tournaments you'd like to see at this lan.
