v6 games

Not LanOC. At the last NexusLan I was told by one of the guys from there that there was going to be a TF2 server and there wasn't. Linky had to use his laptop as a server. I just happened to have the files on my usb drive. Then everyone complained about the spawn times and the RTD mod.

Yeah, i remember that. I know it's not fun for you, but it's always funny to complain about the respawn times... I think JJ hops into servers just to see what the respawn time is because he loves to give people crap about them! That's just his thing.
Hopefully Nexus will be on the ball this time around. But you might want to bring your server anyway in case we want to play TF2 while everyone else is playing MW2 or whatever dumb game they were trying to get everyone else to play last time... I know there is a lot of hard work that goes into getting those servers the way we like them, and i'd like to thank you on behalf of everyone for putting in the time and effor to get them going, even though we complain, we do appreciate your effort in figuring them out!

CS:S came to mind when I was typing this, but it's not what I'm going for.

What happened to all the tom clancy games like Rainbow six... Those were good co-op games where planning took over for rushing the point. I remember drawing out plans that the rest of the team would follow, and if you didn't stick with thos, you could make audibles to the team. Those were fun games to play with others, but frustrating to play by yourself i thought...

Why are there two types of administrator on the site. Reaper's looks different from Lersar's. Also Alex has reaper's style while wes has Lersar's style. Why one with computer chips and the other with red dots? It's just something that i've been wondering about...

I assume that Reaper's is "Super Admin". Which make you wonder why Alex has it. Maybe she's got site building skillz that we didn't know about.

Yeah Nacelle, that would be nice if it would anticipate my death and just respawn me without having to go through the kill cam and the actual sadness and frustration of dieing. If it could just revive me at the spot i died, that would just make my day! :-P

This looks like it could be quite interesting in a LAN setting.

TF2, R6V2, CS:S, UT2K4, COD4, Trackmania, Gears, DoW, Starcraft, Demigod, and Titan Quest would all be sweet. I'd love some co-op, PvB and PvE games. TF2 is about the only game I don't mind fighting real players. UT would be good for massive matches with everyone involved (everyone can install and play, legit too!).
Of those listed, I own all but Gears and Demigod. Of those, I only have UT, COD4, and TQ installed. I need a bigger hard drive.

Any laptop hard drives as prizes for lan?

EDIT: and any free games are friends to me. I'll play them, and love them, and call them George...

I'm more than down! Barely ever played UT games, but I love them. I don't think I've ever seen any played at a LanOC event, let's do it.

2004 is my favorite, defintely down for this. Plus I've got some copies of the Anthology installer that I don't think requires the CD to play.

Awesome. After all the "realistic" shooters we've been playing, I'm more than ready for some fast-paced fragging action. Games like that are a real indicator of pure skill at FPS, too, rather than just who knows the best spot to camp or whatever. You hunt people down and shoot them into bloody bits, or you die. Often. I love it.
