Dreamhack Winter (Nov 26-29)

Tickets for DreamHack Winter (Jönköping, Sweden) go on sale in 2 days (July 25th).

I am going to make this the year I go to the world's largest LAN party (they set the 10,000 person record). I've been dreaming of going for as long as the event has existed.

This one is a fun challenge of travel:
Passport Required
You would have to skip Thanksgiving (I've done 32 of these, I think missing a year won't hurt)
International Flight to Stockholm, Olso, Jönköping, or Copenhagen (anything outside of Jönköping requires Train travel to complete)
Note: average flight to Sweden costs about $1200, but I am seeing an awesome $600 fare out of SNA to CPH

This event is as epic as I had dreamed! It's definitely been worth the sacrifice of missing the US Thanksgiving Holiday and traveling to northern Europe.

My facebook friends are already getting a preview.

I've got a great deal of photos and gopro video...i'll have that edited out over the next few days to share the experience!
