Hi was created by Reaper
Hi, I'm Reaper from FWGamers, and I'm fairly new on the site, JJSky, Twodavez, & Nacelle all sort of informed me about you guys some time ago but my schedule has always been such that I've not been able to make any of your events. Well I should be able to make it to the v5 event so looking forward to meeting some of you in person then. Who I am: I admin the fwgamers.net/ website (a little shameless plug, I know)... our group started up about the same time FWGG died off, we actually had just started learning about them right about the same time we decided to make a website and start growing our community. We try to host parties of about 10 or so at one of our members' houses on a nearly monthly basis.

I've always been in to computers I guess you could say. I wrote my first GW-BASIC program (a miniature game) when I was 9 and have picked up many programming languages along the way. Now I work from home for a company that writes credit union software. Actually I guess I can just stop there and say if you've seen Office Space that is along the lines of what I do, minus the whole money laundering bit :D. I've had jobs in computer sales, hardware, networking, and worked for a while at OnlyInternet (when they were still Parlor City Internet) which I know at least garfi3ld has heard of.

I don't get a chance to game nearly as often as I would like to anymore, most of my gaming happens at LAN parties. With two young kids (3-1/2 & 1-1/2) and trying to make ends meet it can be rough but I look at games as the ultimate stress relief. I enjoy playing about any game that has a low learning curve mostly because I want to pick up the game & have fun, the tactics come along the way. Currently Demigod is my favorite LAN game though TF2 is still a close second. Well hope to see some of you at the next big event, take care 'til then.

welcome to the site officially! Looking forward to meeting you in person in a few weeks. Also, thanks again for all of your help on the website. In-case anyone doesn't know, without your help everyone would of needed to re-register on the new site.

Wes

I got an email from Scott(Phosphor), the founder of FWGG, last month.

Been a long, long time since the Icehouse days. Glad to see your catering to lans. Since those days long ago, I've gotten married, have 4 kids and host a LAN at my place 2-3 times a year. Most of the gaming is centered around COD4 with a handful of others we throw in the mix. I have room for about 12-14 with a gigabit backbone with FiOS. Let me know if your interested. A few that you know are still in the mix over here from long ago. The party is on the 25th of this month. Oh, I generally only cater the LANs to older folk, I leave the big events to handle the young nooblets.
