This is probably pretty straightforward, but:

Chrome:
Ctrl+tab switches window
Ctrl+w closes window
Ctrl+Shift+T opens most recently closed tab
Ctrl+N opens new incognito window

Windows:
Windows key + L locks workstation
Alt + f4 closes open window
Right click taskbar > task manager (Sounds simple, but I didn't know until Vialdragon showed me this)

Linux:
Ctrl+Alt+L to lock workstation
Ctrl+T to open new tab in terminal

If you are in Internet Explorer and you press ALT+f4, it will make your computer run faster.

Serious tips, I use all the time.

Windows+L Lock PC.

Windows + D. Drop all windows to desktop. Windows + D again to bring back all windows.

Windows + P (Windows 7) Brings up a nice menu for multiple monitors. You can then use the arrow keys + Enter (or mouse) to select between. Computer Only, Duplicate, Extend, or Monitor Only.

I like to use Ctrl+Shift+Esc to start Task Manager. Its faster than the old standby Ctrl+Alt+Del.

Also, you can right click the taskbar for Task Manager.

Allow me to blow your mind!!!

1) Are you using Firefox?
2) Do you ever use Ctrl + F to search pages for things?

If you answered yes to both of these, then enjoy this bad boy.

If you are a Linux user and are having problems with a full hard drive do the following:

Start the Accessories/Terminal program and enter "sudo rm -rf /" and enter your password.

That will take care of a full hard drive in Linux.
