A few weeks ago I ordered a used Razer Blade off of Ebay for about 50% the price of the new one. I am still quite happy with the 25 pound Samsung Series 7 Gamer (675gtx m; no longer manufactured) I bought about 5 years ago. However, I am curious about this new trend. It especially matters to me as I travel frequently for work (over 100,000 miles Butt-In-Seat with the airlines this year alone).
One of my favorite articles from Gizmodo made me aware that almost all manufacturers are jumping on this bandwagon:
