Well, it is back together for the LAN, but still have alot of ideas for this case. Also, I pretty the fan controller is screwed up, so I will probably have to get that replaced.

So while we are waiting for information on the LAN location, I figured I would do last minute thing. I ran out of green liquid when I was putting this back together, so I used distilled water in the liquid cooling system. I got a UV green dye boom yesterday, and decided to put that in before I left. I tested it on my gal of water first. It isn't as brite but still looks great under the UV lights.

What do you think?

So rezing this post with an update. As some know, this was my first experience with having someone do airbrushing my case, and it looks awesome, but was a fail because the guys didn't prep the case first and didn't clear coat it correctly(or at all).

So I will be working with a friend at somepoint and he is going to repaint and do it right. With that in mind I decided to go ahead now and cut the window, this was my other mistake, because trying to cut the window and not damage the bad paint job was nearly impossible. (should have window cut before it was painted originally... I know my bad. sigh.)

This is the window I had drawn on the inside of the door for the window layout.

Cut cut cut all day long.

This was removed

window whole final done!

window whole with the U-channel covering on the cut edges.

Got the clear acrylic sheet, but I have to cut it down, going to mount it temp for the LAN. Will post a picture of the window in with once I have it mounted.

Update on the window. picture time.

So I don't have a "workbench" with clamps and stuff, so I used my folding tables and extra computers to hold down while I used my jigsaw.

As you can see, I had some issues with the clear acrylic. This was my first experience cuting it. I got .80 thick which I think was too thin, and cause the break when I was using the jigsaw.

Got the 3m 1040 heavy mounting tape applied to the inside of the door.

applied the clear acrylic to the inside of the door and applied pressure to get it to stick.

door with windos in, not on the case yet.

I put the door on the case, I have run into the same issue the Arctic case mod had, the window hits part of the base side of case.

Turned off the lights and monitors and this is what it looks like. I love it. :)

So right before the LAN I do another stage of this mod. So here are the pictures.

This is what the inside of the front of this case looked like before this stage.

And this is it empty of all the front drive bays

I am replacing both of my single 120mm radiators (one went to Ice Phoenix) with a single 360 radiator.

got the new UV green fans mounted on the radiator, and got the radiator mounted to the case.

I love that NZXT included a 2 drive bay rack that can be removed or put back in with screws.

I also got a new pump and reservoir for this case too, started getting the run put back in.

Runs done and liquid added.

Lights all, look at it glow.

replaced all the 120mm fans with green UV, and moved my cath. lights to make them glow, this is the one on the front behind the grill.

And this is a dark picture with the door back on.

So that is it for now.

Wow this thread is 1 year old. Oh well. I think this will be the final update to this mod. It was really the only finish touch the case itself needed.

I cut the case so the windowed door will close correctly. Also, I ended up with an AIR bubble issue in the radiator having the fittings on the bottom.... So I flipped it over, makes it much easier.

As you can see, the door is closed YAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAY!

Lookin good. Can't make it this weekend, so I will hit you up in Sept. Diggin the Radiator.
BTW, I've had the same issue with air in the past as well. Quick tip if I may. If you NEED to have the radiator fittings at bottom, fill the loop ( with the radiator upside down) and then mount the radiator in the final position. I've also actually flipped my computer over to help move some stubborn trapped air.
