How old is this? Because I remember seeing a submerged computer several years ago at Stompfest. It wasn't as cool at this one though. I just question the one in the video being the first.

looks cool though! I am curious why they decided to go with water cooling on the cpu. I have seen people run low end air cooling on submerged pc's with great results

Looks pretty cool and the mineral oil they used is a lot clearer then the one that I'm sure we all saw back in the day.

The "art decor" inside was pretty awful looking but hilarious and him using the actual tank as the reservoir for the liquid cooling was an interesting take on how to go about it.

I went with oil cooling the block because even with air the tank gets hot eventualy, but if u pump the oil out of the tank up to a rad and cool it and send it to the CPU then the CPU stays around 30 - 40 C .. its actualy way better then just submerging... I have a few of these build and I get way better temps if its oil cooled to the cpu like this

I just built this 6 months ago for intel lanfest... When u put on the IZ3d Glasses the fish all look like they are swimming in thin air... its realy awsome people often reach out and try and touch them becuase the effect is so real... I also fill the tank with th monitor up and submerge it when i show it,, but for this video it wasnt filled. The oil u probably remember someone using that wasnt clear, probably had a yellow tint to it... that was vegetable oil, yuk... turns rancid after a while... all mineral oil is clear... tasteless. odor less. and color less... u can put it in ur friends drinks as a laxative and they will never know... :-)
