Today's picks are Batman, L4D2, Farcry 2 and Prototype. I would say Lost Planet 2 but with it using GFWL its a no go for me.

Prototype is fun, but I'm not sure how good the PC port was. I'll probably hold off until it's below $10 or so.

I played it long go when it was first released on the PC and it ran smoothly to me at least but for me it got repetitive although some the powers were pretty neat to just dick around in the city areas with.

one issue I should point out to everyone

Prototype does not play on a 6 core CPU with hyperthreading, I guess I will be playing this one on one of the test benches.

can you give affinity to only 1 or 2 cores? I know that's how you get UT99 to work on multi-core CPUs.

Today's picks are a bit harder. I would go with Rift if your looking for an MMORPG and are tired of WoW. All of the C&C games are on sale for dirt cheap and lastly Lara Croft Guardian Of Light. I would say Dead Rising 2 but GFWL is the deal breaker, sad too, wanted to play it.

I bought Dead Rising 2 for my daughter from the GFWL store back at Christmas. I don't think you have to run it every time you want to play the game.

I know this would be a pain, but could you shut off core or hyperthreading in the bios?

I picked the game up awhile ago and don't have any problems with the GFWL it isn't as intrusive as it once was. The game is pretty fun especially the weapon creations and some of the random objects you can pick up and beat zombies with.

Or the DLC. Pick it up, its worth it.

Also pick up "The Witcher 2" having alot of fun with that game. Easily worth the cash.

Well its the last day of the sale, I came out with Magicka Complete, New Mount and Blade, Mafia II Joe's Adventure DLC, F! 2010, Just Cause 2 and DLC and Call of Duty 4.

So not that bad all in all should be able to tide me over until Fall and Winter.
