Games with LAN Capability

Yes the admin of the dedicated can say what is and isnt unlocked. Then the players just go an create a class before the going into the game and they can create the class with what ever weapons and atachments, perks etc that they want.


I do like having that kinda ability on a local dedicated server.

What I dont like is that the game requires all players to authenticate to the steam servers for thier game, so its local play but still requires internet for players but the over head is low for that.

Looking through my list I think we have them all.

any chance we will get to see some modern warfare cod4 tournament at this lan, been to the lat 2 lanoc tournaments and only fps ive seen so far was that cartoon one team fortress. would love to see a real fpd game even if it wasnt cod4.

Dedicated Servers no internet.

Oldie but a goodie. If I remember correctly, this one predates CS 1.6 by a little bit. I usually bring this out at any LANs I attend. (btw, there is a very large online following and there always plenty of active servers)

Added bonus to this one, the game can be run directly from the game folder (appx 1.03gb) with no need to install anything. So, it can easily be tossed up on the local net for anyone to grab in no time at all.
