According to online information "Prepurchasing is the only way to get in (to this beta weekend event)" but that doesn't mean that beta access wont be available to other in the future that have not preordred.

I did pre-order it. I wasn't thinking about that when I asked. I've been signed up since 3 hrs after Beta was announced. Kinda aggravated that its no longer considered a closed beta. I feel that any input I have towards a game is more managed during closed betas.

Ok, so I got signed into the 'forums'... just to make sure I'm still not having troubles, does everyone else just get to a 'Welcome' page with no actual forums or place to download the client? I know the email said you wouldn't be able to download it until it went live at some time today, but it said you could at least browse the forums, which every link just brings me back to this one page lol.

sorry your doing something wrong. I was able to download it the day i got the email.
the forums did look .... unfinished to say the least but its a downloadable link inside. The "Getting started" post.

click the link sent to you, click "news and announcements, click "getting started", find the NA client located at the top, download and enjoy. Knowledge is power, and you are weak. ;) Also the download has been available since Tuesday night.

Well I found the download FINALLY, but when I loaded the page today I had a nice list of links that were not there before. My entire experience with this has been two steps forward and one back... I get so far then have to give it 12 hours then it magically starts working...

Patching now, what server are we all on (assuming I'll be able to see them) :D
