Help LanOC with almost no effort at all was created by garfi3ld

With over 10k page views the Help LanOC post on our old forums proved that everyone is willing to help if they can. If you want to help all you have to do is make sure you are running an Alexa tracker. Alexa rates websites by the amount of traffic that visits using their toolbar, unfortunately most enthusiasts don't run most toolbars. This means our web stats don't normally jive with the Alexa rating. All you have to do to help is visit this link and install their toolbar on your favorite browser, this also has the side effect of supporting any other website you visit!

Thanks for your help! The more people who do it the better rank we will be. This will help the lan in the future for sponsorships.

dont need a dell install just get anycopy you can from anywhere and i have an activator that can activate for monufacturers.

I haven't downloaded it yet, but is there a way to let it run without the toolbar at the top? I need as much room for browsing on my 19" as I can.

It doesn't take any realestate from the viewing part of the browser. It's down at the bottom on the right side, inline with the status bar.

I just wanted to remind everyone to ensure they have this program installed on their computer to help LAN OC with sponsers and swag for future LAN parties! It's simple to do and you won't even realize it's running. Plus if you ever visit other smaller sites, they'll get credit too. By identifying who goes where (anonymously of course) we can help marketing people know what sites are worth the funding and should help keep our favorite sites up and running for years to come!

Ughhhhhh, I hate toolbars. I have no addons for Chrome for this reason. Just give me the browser and that's it.

I know its for the good of LANoc but I gotta draw the line somewhere.

Seriously? AdBlock is amazing, and it's seamless, so you never know it's installed unless you look in your extensions.

I believe I installed it once before, but had some issue with it. May have read some bad things about it. Maybe it was before I had to reformat. Anyways, I will probably set it up so I use some browser (probably Safari or Chrome) with this toolbar to exclusively view the LanOC site. I will look into it, I just don't like things really watching me when I am online. Not because of what I look at, but just personal morals I guess. It's my computer and my browser, so I like no one else crowding me up and watching.

Idk. Just thought I would explain why I haven't done it yet.

I just wanted to give this a bump, I have noticed our rank drop over the past few months but our traffic is going up. Im guessing this has to do with some people reinstalling and loosing the plugin. Just a reminder to make sure you have it running to help support us and any other site you visit a lot. If you are running chrome there are a couple plugins you can use that will do the same thing. Just search Alexa or SEO

I installed it awhile ago, but i guess i didn't realize it's not a toolbar for me anymore... I tried to re-install it, but it's still not showing up. Maybe after a restart i'll get it back...
