Packaging

For the packaging on the Pure Power 11 FM 1000W, I don’t think anyone even remotely familiar with Be Quiet! will be surprised with the packaging design. It is black very black. Black is kind of their thing and it's no different here with the front of the box having a black background and then on the left side, they show that this is part of their Essential line with a white strip. They have a picture of the PSU in the center which I really like and then below that the model name is the largest font along with the wattage below that in bold. The white and orange be quiet logo is up in the top right corner and isn’t too large and then on the top left, they have the 80 Plus Gold badge. Most of what you need to know is on the front except maybe that this is an ATX power supply but it is still simple and clean. On the back, they just explain a little more about the be quiet brand and then have a basic specification listing that breaks down the power and your serial number is back here.

When you open the box up, they have a cardboard panel giving a little extra protection and it also divides the power cord and other accessories away from the PSU and the other cables. The Pure Power 11 FM 1000W itself is also wrapped in its bubble wrap bag for even more protection as well but be quiet doesn’t include any of the fancy reusable bags for the PSU or for the cables. I don’t mind using less packaging for the PSU but do still prefer to have a bag to keep the extra cables in.

For documentation, you get a Pure Power 11 FM user manual which is designed for both the 1000w and 850w models and just gives you a quick rundown on everything.

The Pure Power 11 FM 1000W comes with a power cable of course. In addition to that, they also include a baggie of long black zip ties, you get 5 in total. Then there is also a small bag which has the black mounting screws as well to go with everything else. Then like I said the cables don’t come in their own bag, they just have one huge twist tie around them.
