I recently took a look at the WS-110 and was surprised by all of the features of the BlackArmor series. Of course the WS-110 is a little large and has a power cord, not something you would want to travel with. That’s where the PS-110 comes in, considerably smaller than the WS-110 it is designed for portability. But does it have the same high performance and great software that the WS-110 came with? Seagate was kind enough to let me get my hands on one.

When Cooler Master introduced their Storm product line at the start of this year they came out swinging with products designed specifically for gamers and LAN-goers. The one two punch they call the Sniper and Scout got everyone's attention and they are now backing them up with their first venture into the peripheral market; the Storm Sentinel. The secret behind the Sniper and Scout was Cooler Master working close with pro and enthusiast gamers to fine tune and tweak them until they were perfect. If that same process went into the Sentinel Razer and Logitech may want to listen.

It wasn’t that long ago that I took a close look at the SteelSeries Siberia Neckband headset. My complaints almost all came from the neckband holding the headset up. Steel Series does make a Siberia headset that has a standard headband. Today I have the chance to test it out, and to spice things up a little bit this one is bright red, If my wife’s excitement is any indication the Siberia Full-Size headset should be nice.

A while back we had the opportunity to take a look at Cooler Master's Notepal Infinite laptop cooler, unique for its ability to support up to 17" wide screen laptop, as opposed to the average 14~15.4" limit. More recently, however, Cooler Master has release a new line of cooling options, and included is the Notepal X2, the Infinite's big brother, so to speak, rivaling it as the second CM laptop cooler supporting wide screens. With a new look, new features, and new design, its time to see how the X2 stacks up in the harsh realm of notebook cooling.

When it comes to mice and keyboards gaming or otherwise there is one company everyone recognizes. Logitech is by far the largest peripheral manufacture in the world. In fact December of last year they produced their Billionth mouse, that's a lot of mice! They have also made a name for themselves with the G series of gaming peripherals including the popular g15 and g5. Today I have the chance to take a look at the G9x, Logitech's most recently released gaming mouse. I should have high hopes considering its family, but I can't help to be a little unsure. I was a big fan of the g5's shape and the G9x doesn't resemble the g5 at all, so who knows.

When it comes to gaming hard drives there really has only been one. The Raptor series from Western Digital has dominated the market for some time now. Their most recent Raptor is the 300Gb 10k RPM Velociraptor may be a little aged at over 1 1/2 years but still is a force to be reckoned with. Today I have the chance to see how the Velociraptor performs against other solutions including the SAS drives we have tested in the past and SSD's. Will the top name in gaming hard drives still hold its weight?

The most interesting thing about technology is how quickly it advances. It wasn't that long ago that we reviewed a 16Gb drive from Super Talent called the PICO. The PICO's size was very impressive considering the compact size. Of course with technology always moving that 16 gigs looks small compared to Super Talents newest 32Gb PICO drive. Today I have the chance to compare the two.

When it comes to laptop accessories you can find just about anything that you can imagine. Choiix a Cooler Master brand has recently been making a name for themselves by marketing what they call lifestyle products with a focus on style and comfort along with simplicity and portability. Most of their products focus on Netbook or Eee PC’s along with small notebooks, obviously a growing market. With the Cooler Master Brand backing them up I expect to see and hear a lot more from Choiix. Today I’m going to take a look at a few of their products just to get an idea of what Choiix is all about.

One of the breakout hits this past year at CES was hidden in the sands convention center in a small booth called CoolIt. CoolIt has been known for some of time for some of their water cooling and TEC cooling systems for system builders like Dell and Alienware, but with the introduction of the Domino A.L.C. at CES they got everyone’s attention. In fact they were so inundated with requests I just now received our review sample. So without any more waiting I’m going to jump right into it and see how it works.

I've had the pleasure of reviewing a lot of external enclosures, a product that not too long ago was considered a luxury in owning for the average consumer. Nowadays, with advancing technology and lowering prices, its almost odd to see a user without. Naturally, there is an enormous selection of models out there, all (for the most part) sporting the same data transfer rate. So what is it that causes model A to sell more than model B? In-Win knows, and has sent us an example known as the Ammo, to find out for ourselves.

When it comes to the enthusiast heat sink market there is a short list of manufactures who dominate the industry for the most part. Of course there are many other companies who are fighting for a spot trying to make a name for themselves. Today I have the chance to check out a heat sink from a company called Titan, being in the industry for twenty years has become a competitor in the IT market. Working on the high performance market they recently released a heat sink called the Fenrir. In Norse mythology Fenrir stands for a monstrous wolf, with a name with such meaning I'm curious to see how it will perform.

If I accidentally hit the R1 button and skip another scene in my movie, I may go insane. And what button brings up the menu? Square? Why isn't there some kind of simple remote out there, one that's not huge and inconvenient, but one to help capitalize on one of the PlayStation 3's greatest features? Thankfully, there is. Nyko's BluWave Infrared remote may be the answer, and they've generously sent us a sample to see for ourselves.

In the hard drive market there are just a few big names. With the introduction and growth of the SSD market it has opened up the market for anyone who wants to try their hand. Intel and OCZ have dominated the SSD market but that hasn’t stopped others from jumping in and bringing out their own. Crucial being well known in the ram market decided to jump in with a few SSD’s in the past. When we were at Million Man LAN, you could tell how excited the Crucial guys were about their upcoming SSD’s. Today I have a chance to take a look and see how well they perform against some of the fastest standard hard drives for your gaming rig.

In the external hard drive market, there’s no shortage of products available looking to separate your Benjamins from your wallet. Today I’ve been given the Seagate FreeAgent Desk for Mac external hard drive to inspect. Digging for information leaves me a little confused – as the page that references the drive on Seagate’s site only allows you to select the 2tb model, although it supposedly comes in 500gb, 640gb, 1tb, 1.5tb, and 2tb variants. Those sizes are pretty standard in the external hard drive market.

Cell phones have become an integral part of our lifestyle and culture, taking place as almost a necessity in our hierarchy of needs. Unfortunately these futuristic pieces of tech are typically very fragile and therefore often unfit for more strenuous conditions. The cell phone phenomenon has persisted for years now however, and solutions to this problem have been developed. Phone cases aren't exactly a wondrous, technologically ingenious way of protecting your new gadget, but they work. One manufacturer, Otterbox, has developed a reputation for making quality phone accessories. New phones are being released every day, and yet Otterbox seems to have a unique case solution for most if not all phones. They were kind enough to send us a case for the Samsung Omnia, known as the Defender, to test in everyday use. Here is how it measured up.

When it comes to headphones and microphones for aviation and some of the biggest names in music they have relied on Sennheiser products for years. It was only natural that they would venture into the gaming headset market. In the time sense then, they have made a name for themselves with high quality sound along with microphones. Their most recent gaming headset the PC-350 is their top dog with full over the ear cups that I love so much. After a little begging they sent a pair for me to try out, let's see if they live up to their reputation.

Yesterday I took a look at the FreeAgent Go, I came out thoroughly impressed with Seagate's portable hard drive and awarded it with our gold ribbon. To go along with the Go today I will be taking a quick look at their FreeAgent GoDock+, a dock for their go series that includes a USB hub also. Given the performance and quality of the Go I have little doubt that the dock+ will perform just as well.

When it comes to storing and transporting your data there are a few options. Unfortunately floppy discs just don't work well with the needs of people today. USB Flash drives continue to grow reaching up to 128Gb's for a price (a 256gb model was just announced also) . But at least for now the only way to keep all of your photos with you are portable hard drives. When it comes to hard drives Seagate is obviously one of the big names, and with their Free Agent product line you can get just about any size and color that you would like. Today I will be taking a look at their FreeAgent Go 320 Gb drive, one of their portable hard drives.
