We should definitely check out Mega Man 8-bit Deathmatch.

Kurzuul, Slash and I tried this out at my house several weeks ago. It was really fun with three people, and I think it'd be an absolute blast if a bunch of us got a game going.

I would love to. I played the beta or w/e it was before the full game launched, it was great. I believe its free too.

Also, I finally found an .iso for Virtual-On. Don't know if you guys are familiar, but its an old arcade mobile suit game, which was very identifiable by the full cabinet with two seats, two joysticks for each, and a glass between to two players. A mech was then selected, and you piloted it against the other player using twin sticks. For those in Van Wert, the cinema used to have one before the tornado. It's been declared abandonedware, and everywhere I've looked it had no seeders.

I'll have it available at the mini, and it also has network play. If I can figure out how to use two USB analog sticks, I'll cry.

So I just found out it was built-in controls to use two joysticks... if anyone can find two more to bring to the LAN, we can go head-to-head.

Excited to be there, so much so that I pulled out my old PS2 headset... to find out the earpiece literally decayed! I have NEVER had those muffs turn to powder before, WTF? So yea, I have no headset for now. Thinking of just getting a good phone/mic pair individually, I need new cans anyways lol.
Free Mega Man? Only one thing could beat that, Virtual-On!!!!

I feel so out of date, I haven't gotten Vent on my rig... seems like it will be pretty easy to get it set up, I hope.

Were we planning food runs, or bring-your-own? Just wondered if I should bring cash or pack sustenance.

Seriously, thank you Wes, Cory, Adam, and Alex, it was a great experience. The internet problems weren't your fault, and it's just part of the 'charm' of the location. ;)
I would suggest however, considering the idea of the next Lan being focused on LAN games, if 50 or more people will be there attempting to connect to the internet. We could play some of the steam games in offline mode, and we have many options in non-Blops, non-Internet Lan games.
