It's just like the Gutsy Bat vs. the Casey Bat in Earthbound. I'll take the sure hit every time, because I have horrible luck.

Agreed. It's basically 0-200DMG per second or 100DMG per second. If it was 75%, i'd re-think, but a coin flip just isn't enough chance to hit for my taste. I'm the Turtle, slow and steady wins the race!

I would go with the red sword.

I would take neither, and equip an assault rifle.

Red Sword hands down! It's all about luck man! haha if there's a chance I can just barely get more DPS than the other guy I'll take that gamble

Did you see what you did there? you used the important word :"Should"...
If it was real life, i'd take the 100% hit, as i like to know all factors when going into battle, but if it's a video game, i think i'd take the Odds and try for the 200 damage. I loved playing the Blacksmith in HON, his passive or ult was a 25% change of doing double damage. I agree with Davey Boy, nothing wrong with rolling the dice every once in a while, it just sucks more when you miss all 4 swings...

Blue, fighting is about knowing your strength. It's easier to plan and make calls with a solid weapon.
