LANable?
Steam? LANable? I think we've discussed this before. lol. TF2 seems to be the only game that really goes well for steam LANs. And CS:S I guess.
The website may say something about LAN though.
EDIT: Forums are kinda interesting. Game is listed as coming out Winter '09, so... epic delays? lol and they say "No this is NOT a Tom Clancy title." like it's a bad thing. I think it is, to some people. Lists MP as up to 4v4, kinda doubting on actual LAN, but maybe.
Further EDIT: It seems MP for the game is limited to regions (New York, Washington DC, etc) that you've specified in Steam, so that may be an issue for starting matches. I guess, for example, if I set myself as Chicago, and Lersar had Steam set to Washington, we maybe wouldn't be able to play in the same server. Maybe the region limit is only in browsing servers, but still it's something to take into mind.
Final final EDIT, seriously: Apparently has the same DRM as Assassin's Creed 2. Didn't know AC2 had DRM. Anyways, talks on the forum say it's a nasty beast, many people will be avoiding it because steam DRM would be enough, and it sounds like LAN is blocked. So, 80% sure there's your answer. Finally.
