Medal of Honor...or...COD Black Ops

Which one are more people looking forward to and why?

Also I know we play mostly PC games but some people may be considering getting either or both for a console system.

Which platform will you be getting?

Reason I'm asking is to figure out which platform I may go with or lean towards possibly pre-ordering. I'm leaning towards PC if everyone else is going that direction otherwise I might go with 360.

Prolly Medal of Honor for PC.

imho Black Ops looks like another MW2 only with a sweet new campaign and new weaps. Although, the crossbow looks Bad Ass!!!

I'm still leaning towards Medal of Honor for PC...always liked em.

I'm waiting to see the actual games. I'm not really looking forward to either. I'm plenty happy with Bad Company 2 at the moment.

I'll probably be getting CoD for PC. I don't really care about Medal of Honor.

Probably be going with Black Ops, if for no other reasons than to see what Treyarch has done. I'll probably eventually pick up MoH, but after it drops a bit in price. PC.

I picked up Treyarch's last CoD and no one ever played it, other than Nazi Zombies. I'm tired of handing ActiBlizzin $60 every year. Kinda why I don't have MW2.

I love World at War's multiplayer, but nobody ever seems to mention it.

I'm down for Multiplayer netime. just LMK. I know several of us have it. Gweg, D-ray, and I were playing Nazi zombies the other night. But definitely down for normal multiplayer too.

I actually have a legit copy of WaW and Cod4 so let meknow if you wanna play at the lan or something. I see Nacelle and his crew playing lots of the zombies one, looks like Killing floor, but better graphics and you don't have to buy stuff, just kill zombies!

I'm probably in the minority, but I prefer normal WaW multiplayer to zombies.

I like cake......lol.

I really have no preference on these games. I like them all for multiplayer. I rather enjoy teaming up with friends cooperatively most of the time. I will probably get both for PC when it is all said and done.

I'm dipping out on both, for one they pretty much look the same probably feel the same and really don't offer anything new or exciting and going to be like another halfass console port to the PC which is why I didn't bother with Modern Warfare 2

Seriously, both games look like MW2, take 2. And I'm not even a fan of MW2. I prefer GMOD

They announced a lot of new stuff for Black Ops yesterday. A lot of this is actually looking pretty interesting, especially the wager system. Combined with dedicated servers, this game could be everything that I had hoped for with Modern Warfare 2.

For me, that article actually makes me LESS interested in CoD. It sounds like they aren't trying much new except a bit of meta-gaming.

Yeah. Basically they're fixing everything that Modern Warfare 2 did wrong. If Call of Duty doesn't already interest you, that article isn't going to sway you.

Nate from GameStop here in Van Wert just got back from the GameStop convention. I talked to him today, and interestingly he mentioned that he got to play both MoH and Black Ops, and he liked MoH better.

IGN recently shed some light onto the PC side of things for Black OPS...take a look below...although no official word for LAN play but they did say there was no matchmaking.

There are dedicated servers, but Activision made an exclusive deal with Gameservers.com. They're going to be the only hosting company available. You won't be able to host your own server.

OK so the time is running down for at least Medal of Honor pre-order...In all seriousness who is gonna be getting Both of these and like day of release I mean. I was gonna go with just Black Ops but now I'm leaning towards getting both and pre-ordering both if enough people are, also.

yea i think i am just going to get Black ops, i never got into the Medal of Honors. but i just have to wait till i get money now.lol

The one thing going for Medal of Honor is that they are going to have one last open beta a week before launch. Apparently, the previous beta provided them with a ton of feedback and many fixes and tweaks have been applied since. I am hoping for good things!

Well i might have to get the beta and check it out. hopefully there is some good things with it.

Definitely. I think I am gonna go ahead and pick it up for the hell of it. Cause I know I'll get it at some point or another so why not on release, hey!!...lol

The last MoH I played was Airborne, and it was great! I think that may be the one I would at least try.

I do know though, I would need a video upgrade before trying either one.

I forget what you have, because BFBC2 is pretty hard on the graphics card too and you said you were getting that today. If your card sucks that bad, you might not be happy playing it.
