so what did you order

Sensei RAW is what I would go with personally and the Ikari isn't the shape that you talked about with the microsoft mice.

Its far from that as well imo. I'm using a g500s and the Sensei right now I will go grab the Ikari and snap a picture to show you how they all three compare

The Ikari uses a good Optical sensor the G500 and Sensei use a laser sensor that I personally like but some people call it flawed because it does have "some" acceleration on soft mousepads (about 5%). The downside to going with the Ikari is it is using the very old version of the SteelSeries software (last updated in 2008) where the Sensei RAW uses the SteelSeries engine that they continue to update.

As for shape the Ikari has a very formed fit but it doesn't have anything to grip onto if you ever lift you mouse. The G500 and the Sensei are more similar in shape other than the g500 being a little taller.
