No matter how good it runs, mixing the graphics cards is the negative to me. They're not even from the same mfg. Is just seems kind of janky. My SLI'd cards aren't from the same mfg, but I didn't buy them at the same time either. If you're gonna do it, and for that kind of money, why not do it right?

Mixing the brands wouldn't be an issue if you ordered one. I'm guessing they didn't have matching brands available for a computer to send out for review. When you order your rig you select the video card manufacture. You also have to option to pick two 5870's also.

I would love to see the performance difference between two 5870's vs a mixed setup.
